He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin D. Myers and Rachel Bullock Myers; his brother Alvin D. Myers; his nephews, David Myers and Dewayne Scott; his niece McKenzie Carter; his father-in-law Carl Hixon; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Welch (Dinky) and Cindy Hixon.
He is survived by: his wife Carla Myers of Pinola, MS; his children, James Martin (Alleigh) of Pinola, Daniel Myers (Lucy) of Harrisville and Heather Martin (John Millis) of Pinola; his grandchildren, Bentley Peacock, Genevieve Martin, Bo Hudson, Madelyn Hudson, Maggie-Layne Hudson, Bryanna Myers, Blake Myers and Huck Myers; his sisters, Lucretia Myers of Pearl, Melissa Dunaway (Chris) and Angela Welch of Harrisville; his great grandchild Colton Martin; his mother-in-law Jean Hixon of Hazlehurst; and his sisters-in-law, Connie Cooper (John) and Marie Myers of Harrisville.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fresh Anointing. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at the Georgetown Cemetery.
