He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Lucas and Ellawese Lucas; and his brothers, Hank Lucas and Bill Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Julia Sykes Lucas of Pinola, MS; his children, Zack Davis (Candice) of Bassfield, Tyler Davis (Amanda) of Magee, Jennifer Lucas of Mize and Jessica Lucas of Magee; and his siblings, Johnny Lucas of Magee and Rhonda Harris (Kenny) of Magee. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren.
