He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Strickland and Jacqueline Cooley Jiles; his stepfather James Jiles; and his sister Sherry Lynn Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Herrin Strickland; his children, Megan Saucier (Dakota), Julia Lobre (Michael), Jacqueline Strickland (Michael Edwards), Mia Strickland and Jordan Thomas; his grandchildren, Peyton Morgan, Pyper Morgan, Karsyn Hall, Karlee Hall, Talan Saucier, Caleb Lobre, Chloe Lobre, Claire Lobre and Anniston Edwards; and his brother Herman Bigner.
