It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter G. Howard of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away on November 19, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley J. Howard; his parents, Albert Leroy Howard and Luly Elizabeth Carver Howard; his granddaughter Faith Adrainna Howard; and his sister Clara Elizabeth Howard.
He is survived by: his sons, Eddie Joey Howard (Kathy), Kenneth Roy Howard (Rhonda), Michael Garrell Howard (Gina) and Timothy Edward Howard (Marlene); his stepchildren, Darlene Owen, Carol A. Dufloth, Marjorie E. Burns and Charles R. Matthews; his grandchildren, Drew Howard-Scherer, Tabitha Cromwell, Forest Howard and Lindsey Howard; and the mother of his children Charlotte Dunn. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
