With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Voncile Cooper Rester (Picayune, Mississippi), who passed away on December 27, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edgar Leander Rester; her parents, Gertrude Cooper and Leona Lee Cooper; her siblings, Michael Cooper, James Cooper, Hershel Cooper, Vernon Cooper, Josephine Spiers and Gloria Jean Cooper; and her grandson Paul Rester.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Leander Rester (Donna), Debbie Jarrell (Reggie), Shelia Rester, Jan Baughman (Brian) and Angela Burge (Brent Moeller); and her brother Auburn Cooper. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, and fourteen great greatgrandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lee's Chapel (11 Herb Lee Fred Spiers Rd, Carriere, MS 39426). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
