She is survived by: her mother Vicki A. Vaughn of Carriere, MS; her husband Trigg C. McNew III of McNeil, MS; her brother Jason T. Vaughn (Karla) of The Woodlands, TX; her nieces, Taylor McNew, Bailey McNew of Knoxville, TN and Morgan O'Brien; her great-niece Luxyn O'Brien; her nephew Lane O'Brien of The Woodlands, TX.; her uncle Johnny; her aunt Vicki; and her close friend Kim Norton.

The family asks those who want to make donations to consider sending them to Cancer Research Institute and/or Gulf of Mexico Alliance in memory of Veronica V. McNew.
