She was predeceased by: her father Ellis McKnight; and her brother Dean McKnight. She is survived by: her husband Dr. James Jeffery "Jeff" Blount, III; her son James Dewey "Jamey" Blount (Penny); her grandsons, Landon Blount, E. J. Flores (Miranda) and Mylo Flores; her great grandchild Kannyon Flores; her mother Grace McKnight; her niece Sarah McKnight; and her nephew Andrew McKnight.
