As we bid Rebea farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rebea is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sirl Wilson and Iva Lea Landry Hamby. She is survived by: her daughter Stacy Carter (Robert); her grandchildren, Justin Bergeron (Bruna) and Allison Bergeron (Mark Rice); her great grandchildren, Charlotte Bergeron, Maverick Rice and Madison Rice; and her siblings, Lonnie Wilson (Wilma) and Georgia "Ann" Martin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466). A graveside service was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sycamore Cemetery (152 W Sycamore Rd, Picayune, MS 39466).
