She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny R. Carr, Sr.; her parents, Eddie Ashley and Callie Carr Ashley; and her brothers, Clinton Ashley and Clyde Ashley.
She is survived by: her brother Clifton Ashley; her children, Ray Carr (Cindy), Cheryl Johnson (Dwayne), Jamie Smith (Kevin) and Gail Russell; and her grandchildren, Brandon Allen (Carmen), Hannah Shea Smith, Hayden Smith, Candace Bullard, Noelle Covington (Colt), Dylan Bullard, Karsen Dillard (Chris), Kaitlyn Davenport (Brooks) and Kallie Carr. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
