He is survived by: his daughter Debra (Debi); his son-in-law Thomas Salazar; his cousin Darlene Jenkins; and his grandchildren, Julia Jones, Dennis Dickerson Smith, Christopher Smith, Nicole Smith and Alicia Smith. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
