She was predeceased by: her husband Leon Smith; her parents, William O. Kemp and Mary J. Kellar; her daughter Julie Guidry; and her siblings, Kemp, Hazel Dawsey, Doris Craft, Sue Garrott and Mary Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Leon Smith, Jr. (Donna), Marsha Delacroix (Clem), Karen Easterling (Gary), Sharon McKinnie, Leann Lumpkin (Lavern) and Jessica Smith; and her sister Ellen Cooper (Kenneth). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
