He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Sydney Rouse and Annie Cain Lee Rouse; his siblings, Jake Rouse, Curtis Rouse, Lillian Pullens and Flora Allison; and his daughter-in-law Beatrice Rouse.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Rouse; his children, Malcolm Rouse, Jr. (Paulene), Gary Rouse, Marilyn Lee (Lavone) and Kathy Rouse (Bobby); and his siblings, Margaret Bradley, Clayton Rouse and Jimmy Johnson. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty six great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
