She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Elbert and Sarah Evelyn Holcomb (Patch); her brothers, Henry Elbert Holcomb, Jr. and Douglas Leon Holcomb; and her husband Henry Hamilton Hancock of Monticello, MS.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Kaye Hancock Jenkins and Donna Louise Weiss (John); and her grandchildren, Robert Hamilton Hancock (Linda), David Kenneth Hancock (Leslie), James Hamilton McRaney, Ryan Patrick McRaney, Thomas Jonathan Jenkins, Robert Scott Hancock, Mark Hamilton Hancock, Paul Brennen Hancock, Kate Louise Weiss Slusark, Paige Marie Weiss and Sean Gregory Weiss. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Her combined school and church work led to immeasurable contributions to the lives of many Pearl River County children through the years.
