He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphus Joshua Lee and Willie Mae Stockstill Lee. He is survived by: his wife Nell Iris Lee Lee; his children, Louis Dempsey Lee, Jr., Rico Alphus Lee (Trudy) and Joye Nell Lee (Dennis); his grandchildren, Whitney McNelis Wilkinson, Connor Lee McNelis and Asa Lee; his great grandchildren, Emma Grace Wilkinson and Caroline Lee Wilkinson; his sister Susie Ree Lee; and his nephews, Terry Lee (Alice) and Jeff Lee (Grace). He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
In honor of Dempsey's support for missions, the family requests that donations be made to Lee's Chapel #2 Missionary Baptist Church, 27015 Leetown Road, Picayune, MS 39466, for the BMA Philippines Bible College Fund.
