Laken Skye Pearson Vargo Obituary

A Celebration of Life Visitatoin for Laken Skye Pearson Vargo, age 30, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021, will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. A native of Picayune, MS, she was a Phlebotomist and attended Resurrection Life Worship Center.

Laken enjoyed the outdoors and the beautiful scenery and spending time with her babies and family. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Boyce and Gracie Pearson; her uncles, Timmy Smith and Elton Deon Ekornes. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Stephen Vargo; her babies, Stephen "Jr.".

Paul Vargo Jr., River Marie Vargo, Elliana Kaye Vargo, and Alax Carter Vargo; her father, Darrel Pearson; her mother, Tanya Hobgood (William Scott) Pate; her brothers, Joshua (Britanny Taylor) Pearson Garrett Rasco; her maternal grandmother, Martha Kaye (Buck) Smith; her great grandmother, Vonnie Marie Smith; her father in law and mother in law, Roger and Carrie Vargo; her aunts and uncles, Pete (Rebecca) Hobgood, Jason and Lindsey Hobgood, Greg and Mary Pearson, and Patty Banko; and numerous cousins.
