She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Flora Adcox Gilkey; her husband Lyonell Spiers; her children, Faye Antoinette "Toni" Cooper Eighelberger and Charles D. "Chuck" Cooper; and her sister Wilda "Crickett" Cliff.
She is survived by: her sons, David Parris (Pat) of Brandon, MS, Bill Spiers of Picayune, MS and Richard Spiers (Carolyn) of Sharpsburg, GA; her son-in-law Robert Eichelberger of Hot Springs, AR; her brother Charles Gilkey (Betty) of Orange City, FL; and also Terry F. Cooper of Brandon, MS. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as numerous cousins.
