It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Paul Mitchell of Picayune, Mississippi, who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert E. Mitchell and Mamie Mitchell Mitchell; and his siblings, Leda Bell Myers, Eva Nell Roberts, Nora Vell Pullens, Vera Dell Mitchell and Frankie Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Sanders Mitchell; and his children, Paul Mitchell, Susan Watkins (Kenneth), Gary Mitchell and Diana Martin (Timothy). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
