He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam H. Riden and Martha E. Cooper Riden; his wife Louise Riden; and his siblings, Louzelle Walker, Maggie Penny, Marie Wall, Amos Riden, Carry Riden, Warren Riden, Ivan Riden and Dewey Wayne Riden.
He is survived by: his niece Shelia Slater of Pass Christian, MS; and his siblings, Virginia Vandiver of Ringgold, GA, Sara Riden of Birmingham, AL and William "Max" Riden of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
