It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Crowe of Picayune, Mississippi, born in Dassel, Minnesota, who passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ann Drager Crowe; his children, Michael P. Crowe (Stephanie), Denise Steil (Tim), Ann Early and Amy Crowe (Keith Marchant); his grandchildren, Justin Steil, Sirilla Crowe (Kelvin Schneider), Arron Crowe (Brittany), Heather Forbes (Tyler), Nathan Steil, Haley Crowe (Ryan Parker), Alec Eason (Jacie Cross), Theresa Crowe, Katie Steil, Mike Steil and Thomas Crowe; his great grandchildren, Ryder, Skylar, Adlee, Daleigh, Harper, Dax and Scout; his great great grandchild Levi; and his siblings, Tom Crowe (Janice), Sue Scherr and Mary Meshbane (Gene). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A man of nine lives, he survived: a forest fire, an airplane crash in the Antarctic, a motorcycle accident in Bermuda, the '71 California Earthquake, Hurricane Katrina, a tornado and the 2020 Pandemic.
