He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Fornea, Sr. and Tommie Delores Nellums Fornea; his brother John Thomas "Tommy" Fornea; and his son-in-law John Clifton Puckett. He is survived by: his wife Betty Karen Wascom Fornea; his children, Brandon Fornea (Kimberly) and Heather Puckett; his grandchildren, Conner Fornea, Noah Fornea, Parker Fornea, Ariella Fornea, Haylee Puckett and Allie Puckett; and his sisters, Nettie Elizabeth "Libby" Fornea and Kathy Diane Stockstill (Kevin). He is also survived by grandchildren; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and extended family and friends.
James' services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2020, at 11:00 am at New Palestine Cemetery for the immediate family only, due to Covid-19.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Senior Center of South Pearl River County, 45 El Patch Parkway, Picayune, MS 39466, in memory of James.
