She was predeceased by: her husband John E. Patch; her son Daniel L. Patch; her sisters, Betty Stuart and Jeanette Scott; and her parents, Dallas Whitfield, Sr. and Gladys Frierson Whitfield.
She is survived by: her daughter Judy Patch Rouse of Gulfport, MS; her children-in-law, Michael L. Rouse of Gulfport, MS and Linda Patch of Picayune, MS; and her brother Dallas Whitfield, Jr. (Lida) of Pascagoula, MS. She is also survived by five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She loved to sew and was a talented seamstress who regularly made clothing and other items for donation to the local women's and children's shelters.
