She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Roger Pitts and Nellie Mae Gray Pitts; her sister Martha Jean Miller; and her husband Gerald James Courville. She is survived by: her children, Karen Elaine Courville Gascho (Stretch) and Jeffrey Allen Courville; her grandchildren, Chelsea Gascho Walker (James), Alicia Lee, Trevor James Gascho (Emery) and Trenton Gregory Gascho; her great grandchildren, Tayden James Gascho and Everly Grace Farmer; and her siblings, Frances Anne Lyons and James Arthur Pitts (Lucille). She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Picayune (401 Goodyear Blvd, Picayune, MS 39466). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the New Palestine Cemetery (2336 Palestine Rd, Picayune, MS 39466).
