He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemuel Jarrell and Hazel Stewart Jarrell; his wife Jimmie Nelda Jarrell; his daughter Nelda Karen Fowler; his stepson Keith Booth; and his brothers, Shell Ladner (Tommy Lou), Elijah Ladner (Becky) and Aubrey Ladner.
He is survived by: his son Kem Jarrell (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Maegan Jarrell Veazey (Brannon), Brooke Fowler, Courtney Jarrell Welch (Scotty) and Jameson Rollins (Beth); his great grandchildren, Braylon, EmmaRae, Cohen Veazey, Saylor, Kember Welch and Jace Rollins; his sister Jerri Bickerton; his stepdaughter Kathy Tarnok (Richard); and his stepgrandchildren, Kristian, Brittany, Cole, Brandi and John Keith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pine Grove Baptist Church (34 Pine Grove Rd, Picayune, MS 39466). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (34 Pine Grove Rd, Picayune, MS 39466).
