He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sonia Hebert Smith of Kaplan; his sons, Josh Smith (Amy) of Picayune, MS, Sam Smith (Katy) of Picayune, MS and Jake Smith (Kelli) of Picayune, MS; his stepson Jared Roberts of Louisville, KY; his daughters, Jessica (Jonathan Moeller) of Picayune, MS and Amaly Smith of Kaplan; his stepdaughter Kourtlynn Roberts of Kaplan; his mother Vonnie Marie Smith of Picayune, MS; his siblings, Martha Kaye Smith of Picayune, MS, Maurice Smith of Picayune, MS, Otis Smith of Picayune, MS, Steve Smith of Picayune, MS and Mike Smith of Picayune, MS; his father Maurice Lafayette Smith; and his brother Ed Smith. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren.
