With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy McVaugh Pigott (Picayune, Mississippi), who passed away on December 25, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford T. McVaugh and Catherine M. McVaugh. She is survived by: her husband John R. Pigott; her children, Jason Pigott (Marilyn), Lauren Pigott (Michael Straw), Alison Raiford (Cole) and Justin Pigott (Bethany); her siblings, Dr. James McVaugh (Tonya) and Donna Nations (Rich); and her grandchildren, Macy Pigott, Amy Pigott, Julie Pigott, Collin Raiford, Alex Catherine Raiford, Abigail Pigott and Elijah Pigott.
The family requests that if you attend that you wear a mask and socially distance. With the current issues with the pandemic, they do not want to cause anyone to become ill or spread the virus.
In lieu of flowers, Dot requested that donations be made in her memory to the Picayune Church of Christ or to a church of your choice.
