She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. Spiers and Blanche Chisholm Spiers; her husband Alfred "Buck" Martin; her son Joseph Spiers; and her siblings, Albert Spiers, Chisholm Spiers and Carol Persinger.

She is survived by: her children, William Humphries (Bill), Ronnie Martin (Joyce), Betty Fortner, Beverly Guerra, Mary Crocker (Clovis) and Paul Martin (Jana). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
