He is survived by: his wife Devorah C. Rodgers Newman; his children, Christopher Newman (Shannon), Ronald Newman and Michelle Anderson (Joel); his granddaughters, Jessi Lynn Newman, Carly Anderson, Brannon Anderson and Reagan Newman; and his siblings, Connie Mayberry, Mary Dufrene, Beverly Breaux, Elsie Labat, Bonnie Dempster and Billy Newman.
