Betty Jean Kellar Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jean Kellar of Picayune, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Randolph "Doc" Mitchell and Mary Thigpen Mitchell; her son David C. Kellar; her grandchildren, SGT Irvin Mitchell, Byron Long and Shannon Morrison; and her adoptive son Clyde Morris Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Kellar, Clay Kellar, Susan Kellar Fendley (Byron), Steven "Woopie" Kellar (Kathy) and Daniel Kellar (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Jeremy Ladner, Alex Kellar, Jonathan Kellar, Andrew Kellar, Amanda Mitchell, Sarah Kellar (Jason), Misty Morley (Jacob), Harley Fleming (Trey), Kimberly Miller and Jessica Hayes; and her close friends, Teresa Eherlich, Terri Favre and Karen Short. She is also survived by 33 great grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; lots of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, July 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, July 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Nicholson (3352 Jackson Landing Rd, Picayune, MS 39466). A graveside service was held on Monday, July 29th 2024 at the Thigpen Cemetery (111 Williamsburg Rd, Picayune, MS 39466).
