He is survived by: his wife Sharon McKinnie; his stepchildren, John Newell (Vanessa) and Amanda Jones (Danny); and his siblings, John McKinnie (Tish), Faye Ellis and Eve Sheridan (Mike). He is also survived by five step-grandchildren.
