He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wiley Lott and Ola Mae Coulter Lott; and his brothers, Robert Lott of Poplarville, Dwight Lott of Poplarville and D. J. Lott of Poplarville.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Claire Lott; and his children, Jeanette Browder of Brandon, MS, Larry Lott of Columbia, SC and Lamar Lott of Brandon, MS. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
