He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mitchell and Myra Smith Mitchell; his grandsons, Westyn and Martin Mitchell; and his sisters, Shirley Kirkland and Sandy Hathorn.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Martin Mitchell; his sons, Shane Mitchell and Josh Mitchell; his grandchildren, Ava Mitchell, Braden Mitchell, Kynleigh Vicknair and Laelynn Mitchell; and his sisters, Carolyn Asher and Marilyn Stockstill. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel (401 W Canal St, Picayune, MS 39466). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Palestine Cemetery (2336 Palestine Rd, Picayune, MS 39466).
