He is survived by: his wife Carole Warren Dillard; his sons, Alvin Ray Dillard Jr. and Jeffery K. Dillard; his grandchildren, Tasha Murphy (Marcello), Daniel Dillard (Birdie), Destanie Byrd (Justin) and Mary Elizabeth McBride (Josh); his great grandchildren, Charlotte Byrd, Owen Byrd, Presley Byrd, Praley Byrd, Luke Dillard, Ago Murphy, Zoie McBride and Maggie McBride; and his sister Vonnie Marie Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
