He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Beth Howell; his parents, Alvin Howell, Jr. and Willie Mae Smith Howell; his son Jeremy Allen Howell; and his sister Connie Howell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth "Beth" Howell Arcement and Debra Gail Howell; his grandchildren, Taylor Nicole Ledlow, Colton Avery Arcement, Blakely Madison Arcement and Hudson Asher Arcement; and his siblings, Steve Howell (Valery), Tommy Howell, Kathy Williams (Gary) and Karen Luke (Jim).
