She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father George Buchanan; her husband Billy Safley; her children, Walter Safley (Teresa), Sharon Safley, Vicki Knighton (Roy), Vivian Raner (Shelton) and Richard Safley (Jennifer); her father Sam Buchanan Biggers; her siblings, Robert "Bob" Buchanan and Frances Beverly; and her granddaughter Nicole Safley. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
