Stanley P. Salter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stanley P. Salter of Philadelphia, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2024 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stanley P. Salter to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Salter and Jimmie Salter; and his in-laws, Kenneth and Willie Jean Wells. He is survived by: his wife Kay Wells Salter; his children, Tate Salter (Andrea) of Philadelphia, MS and Whitney Salter Vance of Hattiesburg, MS; his grandchildren, Tanner Salter, Jon Byars Salter, Tatum Salter, Barron Vance and Porter Vance; and his sisters-in-law, Cyndi Weldy (David) and Gina Daly. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested all memorials be made payable to First Methodist Church of Philadelphia Choir Fund.
