She was predeceased by: her parents, Iona Clemons and Mance Warren; her former husband Oliver Lee Lyons; her husband George Rush, Jr.; her daughters, Nina Kay Lyons and Alice Faye Warren Pickens; her brother Willie Mack; and her grandsons, Tommie Lee Warren and Marcus Bates.

She is survived by: her children, Edna Pickens-Friend (Abraham) of Ripley, TN, Tyrone Welch (Romano) of Saint Louis, MO, Randy Pickens of Philadelphia, MS, Jo Hellen Lyons-Graham (Johnny) of Philadelphia, MS, Randolph Lyons (Dorothy) of Philadelphia, MS and Norman Lee Warren-Lyons (Ruth) of Philadelphia, MS. She is also survived by 19 Grand Children, 34 Great Grand Children, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Mt. Nebo M. B. Church (257 Carver Ave, Philadelphia, MS 39350). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Donald Rest Cemetery.
