Ruth Carter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2020, at the age of 89, Ruth Carter (Philadelphia, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmitt Richie and Ida Richie; and her siblings, E. J. Richie, Illene Gordon and Mildred Blocker.
She is survived by: her husband Harry J. Carter; her son Jeff Carter of Philadelphia; and her siblings, Willie Mae Lott of Madison and Richard Richie of Oxford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, or a favorite charity.
