He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Mott Jenkins; his granddaughter Sunny Jenkins; and his parents, Rupert Jenkins and Jeffie Lee "Polly" Jenkins. He is survived by: his son Rupert K. Jenkins; his grandchildren, Jamie, Josh and Sara; his sister Alice Jane Gardner; and his nephews, Jay, Jon and Jed. He is also survived by his family dearly, especially his grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McClain-Hays Funeral Home (1002 E Main St, Philadelphia, MS 39350). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
