He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Maxwell and Frances Jane Warren Maxwell; and his brothers, Roy and David Maxwell. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Maxwell of Philadelphia, Robert Maxwell, Jr. of Ethel, William Carl Maxwell of Philadelphia and Benjamin M. Maxwell of Louisville; his sisters, Betty Roach (John) of Louisville and Susan Green of Noxapater, Mississippi.; his grandchildren, Alyssa Maxwell of Philadelphia, Frances Maxwell of Philadelphia, William "Duke" Maxwell of Philadelphia, Michael Maxwell of Louisville and Tyler Maxwell of Philadelphia; and his nieces, Dana Scrivener, JJ Misso, Callie Roach and Ashley McBrayer.
