She was predeceased by: her husband James Lavon Slaughter of Philadelphia; her parents, Lester Carlton and Gertie Gipson Milling of Dixon; her siblings, Myrtis Mitchell, Irvin Milling, Erna Milling, Eleanor Moore, Jack Milling, Dorothy Dean Milling and Doyle Milling; her aunt L. V. Putnam; her granddaughter Jamie Alicia Slaughter; her grandson-in-law Paul Henkel; and her great grandchild Madelyn Grace Zahorsky.
She is survived by: her children, Jayne Robinson (Keith) of Biloxi and Charles "Butch" Slaughter (Janet) of Pearl; her grandchildren, Josh Slaughter of Pearl, Julie Slaughter Henkel of Brandon, Meredith Zahorsky (Kyle) of Flower Mound, Kyle Robinson of Jones County and Kera Libardoni (Vince) of Biloxi; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, James Henkel, Max, Molly, Miles Zahorsky, Kasen Robinson and Kallie Libardoni.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Philadelphia or Camp Dixon in her memory.
