He was predeceased by: his father B. J. Townsend. He is survived by: his children, Alesha Cross, Jordan Townsend and Tyler Townsend of Hattiesburg; his grandchildren, Kamrein Harrison Cross, Jayse Cross and Talyn Cross; his mother Barbara Townsend; and his grandmother Ruby Townsend. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
