He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Grant Clemons and Mary E. Clemons; and his granddaughter Kayla Gordon. He is survived by: his children, Vila Gordon (Vie) of Philadelphia, MS., Lorene Clemons (Dravin Clark) of Florence, AL., Mackie Clemons, Jr. (Micheal) of Flint, MI. and Jimmy Talley of Philadelphia, MS; and his grandchildren, Michael, Donnie Johnson (Chelsey Jeanne) of Grand Banks, MI., Chiquita Johnson (Kita) of Florence, AL., Smart Johnson (CJ) of Philadelphia, MS. and Tneah Crosby (Avery Butler) of Philadelphia, MS. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Jerusalem Temple Church (414 Ivy St, Philadelphia, MS 39350). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery (Philadelphia, MS 39350).
