He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Sims and Mildred Sims; his sister Sandra O'Berry; and his close friend Josh Ladd. He is survived by: his wife Susie; his daughters, Michelle Estes and Toni Sims; his grandchildren, Kirstie Downey, Cody Estes, Gavin Nickels and James Nickels; and his siblings, Carolyn Wilder of Philadelphia, MS., Debbie Fredrick (Gary) of Sebastopol, MS., Danny Sims of Philadelphia, MS., Gary Sims of Philadelphia, MS., Perry Sims of Philadelphia, MS. and Ricky Sims of Philadelphia, MS.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers family requests all memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation or charity of choice.
