He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Commer; his children, Donnie Commer (Faron), Terry Commer (Tammie), Betty Kirkland (Jimmy) and Pam Manning; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Kirkland (Morgan), Josh (Trevor Commer), Randy Carl Arledge, Nathan Commer (Donald Joe Nowell), Emily Commer Ingram (Stuart), Dianne Commer Madison (Bryan) and Flame Coker (Mark); his great grandchildren, Colton Ingram, Trenton, Jacob Kirkland, Jay Dee Madison, Jasper, Jake, Colt Commer, Christian Soriano, Gable Coker, Makaela, Abba Ingram, Callie Commer, Bindi, Vivien Coker, Allie Grace, Ivey Kate Commer, Minnie, Lyra Nowell and Libby Madison; his great great grandchild James Avery Hoskins; and his siblings, Mary Lee Lowrey (Bobby) and J. W. Commer.
