It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hilton Fairchild of Philadelphia, Mississippi, who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilton Reese Fairchild and Esma Fairchild; his niece Robin Oglesby; and his sister-in-law Retha Thrash. He is survived by: his wife Paulette Fairchild of Philadelphia, MS; his children, Susan Gavronski (Tim) of Palm Coast, FL., Kathy Bliss (Chip) of West Hartford, CT, Allison Fairchild of Omaha, NE., Chad Cannon of Conway, AR., Dr. Derek Cannon (Heather) of Philadelphia, MS. and Anka Smith (Spencer) of Prairieville, LA; his grandchildren, Lucas Cannon, Josselyn Cannon, Cannon Smith, Bella Cannon and Jon David Cannon; his sister Pat Oglesby (Bob); and his brother-in-law Troy Branning (Katherine).
In lieu of Flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Neshoba County General Hospital and Nursing Home.
