With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herman Fortenberry (Philadelphia, Mississippi), who passed away on April 8, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Fortenberry and Martha Fortenberry; and his siblings, Theodore, Junior, John, J. D. Fortenberry, Bobbie Stovall and Mary Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Fortenberry; his children, Kenith Fortenberry (Leslie) and Marsha Ward (Bo); his grandchildren, Summar Irons (Seth), Chloe Pinter, Brody Pinter, Chandler Fortenberry, Cayla Fortenberry, Krystal Ward and Taylor Vickers (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Fletcher Irons; his sister Elizabeth Paris of Southaven; his friend Steve Page; and his son Will.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials to be made to St. Jude, Shriners Children Hospitals, or charity of choice.
