She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Johnson; her son John Dee Johnson; and her siblings, Cloteel Purvis, Earl, Glidell, Tommy and Derwood Sistrunk.
She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Johnson (Christine) of Philadelphia and Don Johnson of Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Morrise Johnson, Tony Johnson, Angelia James and Haden Johnson; her great grandchildren, Brayden Johnson, Hunter James and Ashlyn James; and her sisters-in-law, Jewel Sistrunk and Maria Sistrunk. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Old Pearl Valley Cemetery Fund.
