He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Pope; and his parents, J. E. Pope and Ola Pope. He is survived by: his children, Ted Pope (Patty) of Philadelphia, Ed Pope (Laura) of Meridian and Jessica Hubbard (William) of Starkville; his grandchildren, Dylan Pope, Brandon Pope, Mitchell Ty May, Savannah and Kyle Hubbard; and also Frances Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers family requests memorials be made to The First United Methodist Church, Philadelphia, MS or St Jude Children's Hospital.
