It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Curtis of Philadelphia, Mississippi, born in French Camp, Mississippi, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wyatt Curtis and Louise Curtis; and his siblings, Edwin Curtis, Annie Jo Godfrey and Dora Bess Steffler.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Moorhead Curtis of Philadelphia; his daughter Vicki Curtis of Philadelphia; and his brothers-in-law, Arlis Godfrey (Mary) of Kosciusko and Wayne Moorhead (Lou) of Denham Springs, LA. He is also survived by four nephews and one niece.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to East Philadelphia Baptist Church or your favorite charity.
