She is survived by: her children, Betty Luke (John D.) of Bailey, Margaret McDonald of Livingston, AL, Ricky Eakes (Lisa) of Philadelphia and Eugene Eakes of Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Randall Eakes and Walt McDonald; her great grandchild Walt McDonald; her sister Bobbie Shoemaker of Forest; her husband Bobby Gene Eakes; and her daughter Peggy Eakes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
